Sant Antoni de la Mar
On 24th and 25th February, the residents and visitors of La Pobla de Farnals will be able to enjoy the San Antonio de la Mar celebration in the beach area. This festivity is held in honour of San Antonio Abad, patron saint and protector of animals.
This traditional event is organised by the Federació Valenciana de la Festa de Sant Antoni, in collaboration with the Brotherhood of Sant Antoni de la Mar and the Town Council of La Pobla de Farnals.
On Saturday 24th February at 12:00 noon the traditional ‘Entrà del Pi’ will open the festival with a group of horses that will accompany the entrance to the bonfire with fragments of pine to finish forming the structure of the great bonfire.
In 2023 more than 30 riders with their horses and some carriages made this festive parade with music along the beach area of La Pobla de Farnals.
