Aussie Surf Club (ASC) is a surf school in English for children. We are the only surf school in the Valencian Community run and managed by Australians, and the only one that offers all its courses in English.
In Aussie Surf Club (ASC) our goal is simple: we want to recover the fun in learning English and, for that, what better way to combine our courses with the sport of surfing. The children already spend the whole year in the classrooms. Do not send them back to a school this summer if they can learn English on the beach with us.
At ASC we believe that our innovative method of teaching English through the combination of theoretical classes in the classroom with the practice of beach sports such as surfing is the best way for your children to learn and practice English this summer.
At ASC all of our classes are taught in English by qualified teachers and instructors. Our methodology creates a positive learning environment through interactive activities that enhance the participation of children in order to quickly improve language learning.
At ASC we believe that the key to learning a language is to create a positive environment for learning and sport is an excellent method for this. We think that both our surf lessons and the other didactic activities that we have accelerate that learning process in children.

Australia is a pioneer in surfing and has dominated all aspects of surfing and its development over the past 60 years. In Australia we do not know much about paella or football, but we do know everything about surfing.
One of the objectives of ASC is to bring a bit of surfer tradition to the Valencian Community. And we do it not only through surfing, but also through our beach culture and our language, English.
At ASC we have courses suitable for everyone. Choose the courses for beginners, if it is your case, and you will learn the fundamental techniques of our sport or, if you have previously surfed with us, join our club to continue improving.
The Kangaroo Club is our Summer School for children.
This Club is specifically designed for children between 6 and 12 years of age and you can access it from June to September (both inclusive). By signing up to the Kangaroo Club you can access English classes combined with didactic activities on the beach. All classes are taught in English (both lectures and activities) by highly qualified teachers.

Surfing is like any other sport. When you start practicing it, you need to learn the basic techniques and do it in an environment that is easy to learn but also safe.
You can not play soccer without first learning to run, to pass and to shoot the ball. In the same way, before you can catch the big waves of Australia and Hawaii you must learn to row, stand on the board and be able to maintain balance. In summer, at La Pobla De Farnals, we have the best and most consistent waves to teach surf to the little ones.

The facilities of our school are in the Puerto Deportivo de La Pobla de Farnals. They are located on the Paseo Marítimo Colón, on the South Beach.
You can reach our school with public transport and, in addition, there is a large public parking area available.

Safety is a priority in our activities.
Our groups are small and the proportion between teachers and students is adequate to ensure that we maintain that level of security by having a direct relationship between monitor and student.
If the weather conditions do not allow surfing, we have alternative activities. All students who participate in any of our courses are covered by our school insurance.
All the instructors at ASC are highly qualified teachers in teaching with many years of experience working with children. All of them use our methodology and with this they ensure that their children will make the most of the Aussie Surf Club experience.
